This year, creativity pivots around all things India. Honouring World Creativity Day in a most apropos way, the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Creative Lab launched its global campaign, Saw This, Made This. Through the initiative, people are inspired to contribute to India’s diverse artistic heritage by creating city-inspired art installations and crafted cocktail experiences that will be featured on the platform. At its core, this endeavour draws inspiration from India’s rich tapestry & natural art, captured by photographer Rohan Shresthaa and reimagined by Klove Studio. As he traversed throughout the country, Shresthaa photographed every nook and corner of India’s diversity: architectural marvels, natural landscapes, vibrant city life, and quaint small towns.

Through his “creative hunting”, he caught the beauty of the Taj Mahal, Mumbai’s vibrant nightlife, palm trees in Goa’s Parra Road, and the pink-bloomed flowers of Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park. “Saw this, Made This presented a unique opportunity to push my boundaries and explore uncharted creative territories. With these experiences, I discovered a wellspring of inspiration. Stepping outside one’s comfort zone can be truly transformative, and this project is a testament to the power of embracing new challenges for me”, added photographer Rohan Shrestha.

Klove Studio founders and creative directors, Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth are excited to be part of a unique creative collaboration that marries art and photography installations with crafted cocktail experiences. “For this campaign, we envisioned a lighting experience that mirrored the brand’s spirit of exploration and discovery. We aimed to create an atmosphere that sparked curiosity and ignited creativity, just like the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Creative Lab itself,” said Jain and Seth.

Creativity is birthed from inspiration, and the primary focus of this campaign was to ignite new forms of inspiration through unique, lesser-known methods. Mahesh Kanchan, the managing director of BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Creative Lab, said “We believe creativity isn’t a privilege for the few, it’s a spark waiting to be ignited in everyone. This campaign is rooted in the idea that inspiration can be found anywhere, in anything, waiting for the right eye to see it. This demonstrates the brand’s continued commitment to creativity – both inside the cocktail glass and beyond.”

Through this experience that fuses vision and craftsmanship, the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Creative Lab reaffirms its commitment to fostering a global community rooted in creativity and the constant search for inspiration. India’s cultural landscape is brought to life through artistic measures, which hopes to ignite a chain reaction of innovation, proving that the potential to create art in multifarious, versatile ways, lies within us all.
