Belgium’s renowned carpentry workshopĀ Atelier Ternier is set to host an exhibition called “Crafting Connections” fromĀ August 30-September 29. Hosted at Surplus in Ghent, this group show will feature the work of independent design practices from the contemporary European circuit.
What makes “Crafting Connections” a fascinating exhibition is its inclusion of new and existing pieces that comprise everything from home furniture to small editions. Pivoting around the themes of collective creativity, innovative design and self-production, every participant has been chosen for their shared methodology in designing, producing and refining everyday life objects.
