Udit Mittal is an architect and founder of QX Design, focused on climate-responsive architecture, rooted in local crafts and materials. Working closely with structural experts and artisans, his works explore bamboo and natural building systems in ecologically sensitive regions, such as the Sundarbans and the Eastern Himalayas. His work blends technical rigour with cultural sensitivity to create spaces that are environmentally responsible, socially rooted, and economically viable.
