With his background in architecture and civil engineering from Lehigh University and Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), Samuel Barclay’s practice creates enduring, contextual, and empathetic design to create a positive impact for the people and communities it serves. Having worked previously in Los Angeles and with Studio Mumbai in India, he later co-founded Case Design with his partner, Erica Barclay. In addition to architectural projects, Barclay’s experience spans across furniture, interiors, and exhibitions, leading to the development of the furniture brand, Casegoods, with Saleem Bhatri and a lighthouse for sustainable construction, Solarpunk Futures with Akshay Tandon.
