Paolo Carotelli is an Italian architect, researcher, and Associate Professor at Instituto Marangoni Dubai, where he directs the MA Interior Design program and research. Enabled by a Master’s in Architecture, a PhD in Architectural & Urban Design from Florence, he has spearheaded private and public projects of institutes across Italy and the UAE. His researches focus on urban design, extreme environments, and sustainable architecture, ranging from deserts and polar regions to underwater and space, to integrate biophilic design and bio-regenerative designs to enhance well-being. He is also an active member of AIA, AIAA, IAF-SHC, and Moon Village Association, helping to shape the future of architecture and space habitats.
