ID SPECIAL PROJECTS
NEO DECO

Contemporary objets d’art—deco revisited

Curated by Misha Bains, Fair Director of India Design ID, this year’s special exhibition, NEO DECO, celebrates The Age of Design Syncretism and the Art Deco centenary to create a dialogue across time. Showcasing 40+ unseen contemporary objet d’arts from Indian and international design ateliers, this special exhibition reinterprets Deco’s iconic motifs, geometries, and materials through the lens of today’s design sensibilities.

Syncretic Threads

Storytelling through textiles

India Design ID is curating an immersive display titled Syncretic Threads with textile-led installations that emphasise how craft and design can layer identities, cross boundaries, and foster meaningful synthesis. The installations will celebrate the richness that emerges from blurring disciplines, techniques, and traditions, positioning design as a site of ongoing cultural dialogue. The exhibit will feature designers working across fashion, craft, home furnishings, sculpture, and tapestry mediums.
