This multi-talented architect, who has dabbled in all spheres of product design, is on a rocket ship going nowhere but up. Now, the man behind celebrity houses like Hrithik Roshan and Jacqueline Fernandez is launching not one but four furniture lines in collaboration with Urban Ladder.
First step “Amongst many other things, the EDIDA India Designer of the Year title has helped garner attention in making an establishment like Urban Ladder to look at someone like me. They were very clear that they wanted someone who is an architect and our aesthetics matched as well.”
Inspiration “The philosophy of Wabi Sabi was the focal point of this collection, which is finding perfection in imperfection. Using natural materials like wood, cane, open grain finishes over glossy materials and finishes.”
Future plans “Since the Wabi Sabi collection was six months in the making, I want to see the reaction to this before rolling out the other ranges.”
