Nitya Arora, an alumnus of Parsons School of Design, New York is the Creative Director of VALLIYAN, a bespoke jewellery brand. A pioneer in the luxury fashion jewellery space, she started Valliyan in 2008 at the age of 21 and has won multiple fashion awards and accolades since then. She has adorned celebrities from Kim Kardashian, Niki Minaj, Katy Perry, Frida Pinto to Sridevi, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and many more. Additionally, she is also a luxury creative consultant and is one of the first designer’s to make a completely sustainable jewellery line. She has also played muse for couturiers like Gaurav Gupta, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla as well as designers like Nikhil Thampi and Raw Mango. A champion of body positivity, her latest venture in 2021 is her newly launched clothing like called MALAI Life, which blurs the lines between work, home and holiday wear.
