An esteemed photographer, curator, artist, designer and activist, his work has been featured at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai, The Centre Pompidou in Paris, Museum of Modern Art in New York, and many more revered institutions. Rahman is also one of the founding members of the Safdar Hashmi Memorial Trust (SAHMAT) in New Delhi, and has been lecturing on aspects of contemporary Indian photography and architecture across the globe.
