Maximiliano Modesti attained a Bachelor in Fashion Design from Studio Bercot, Paris before pursuing an MBA in Fashion Management from Institut Francais de la Mode.
As studio manager at Azzedine Alaia Sas, Maximiliano worked on collection and production planning for Fabric, knit and embroidery research and development, monitoring the in-house atelier and partner factories, and was part of the conceptualisation and set up of the first Alaia retrospective at the Groningen Museum in December 1997 in collaboration with curators Jim Cook and Mark Wilson.
In 1998, he founded Les Ateliers 2M in Paris, a design creation an development studio for fashion textiles. He has been the Founder and Managing Director of 2M Ateliers and Design Pvt Ltd since 2000, focusing on fashion, textile and embroidery design development and manufacturing for international luxury brands.
In November 2013, Maximiliano co-founded design and craft retail store, Jaipur Modern.
