Apparao Galleries celebrates both emerging artists and historical works with the intention to further conversations about art. Founded by owner-director Sharan Apparao as a space that houses many forms of modern art, its multifaceted approach promotes an ambitious and challenging contemporary practice. Operating out of Chennai as its main hub, as well as New Delhi and Mumbai, it serves as a convergence point for both emerging and established artists. The gallery also collaborates with collectors and architects by commissioning artworks to amplify spaces with a unique aesthetic.
