Glass Sutra was founded by Ms Reshmi Dey 18 years ago after a formal education in this medium from the UK, specialising in Hot Glass Blowing, and insights from world’s leading glass maestros. While exploring the craft she was exposed to the male dominated glass industry in Firozabad, the centre of glass industry in India.

She began her ground work to set up the studio for both glass and the artisans of Firozabad, where both would get their due respect and recognition in India. Her deep connection with the international glass art and craft community( Italy, Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic, USA) helped her build the studio and create a space equipped with possible health and safety measures to make a welcoming and secured place for everybody.

India’s first comprehensive public access glass art studio, Glass Sutra, is a one-of- a-kind creative space, built over an area of 5000 sq. ft. in New Delhi for all the art lovers,glass artists, enthusiasts of this art form, and exponents from other creative fields and give the liberty to follow their passion and indulge in their artistic expression.
