Differniture was founded in 2014, by a Parsons alumna, Aakriti Kumar. The furniture design atelier found its roots in New Delhi, showcasing an alternative and sustainable approach to design. Their premise is to merge the sculptural integrity of art with the functional values of design.

They will be launching their new range of furniture inspired by geometry called Tessellate at the ID ’18. This collection focuses on the repurposing of material left over from past projects as well as reclaimed materials into newly conceived products using geometry as a source of inspiration to create patterns. This range focuses on products such as coffee tables, side tables, accent chairs, consoles as well as smaller accessories for the home.
