Known for transforming familiar objects and themes into large-scale sculptures, Alex Davis Studio presents ‘Cosmic Tree’ at ID Mumbai 2026.
A sculptural interpretation of the Bodhi tree, the work features laser-cut stainless-steel leaves inscribed with lines from Buddhist scripture. The words reveal themselves through the shadows cast onto the ground below.

As the light shifts, so does the text, thereby turning the canopy into a quiet meditation on knowledge, discovery, and what lies beyond the surface.
