Exploring the interplay of art, architecture, and collectible design, Atelier Arunika combines storytelling with craftsmanship, using material as a medium of expression.

At ID Mumbai 2026, the studio presents Forma Pois Memoirs, a five-piece series by Arunika Sarkar inspired by the memories and wonder of childhood.

Drawing from the vocabulary of Postmodernism and Memphis design, the series features: ‘Evocata’, a contemporary take on an old family chair; ‘Dolce Chaos’, a sculptural console inspired by a bioscope; ‘Cromatica Totem’, which draws from the traditional Indian game of pittu, transforming balance and repetition into a colourful sculptural composition; ‘Euphorica’, which reimagines the Bengali hand fan as wall art; and, lastly, ‘Teatrica’, a storage piece shaped like a child’s dress.
