Founded in Hyderabad by architect Priyanka Narula, The Wicker Story is a design atelier reinterpreting India’s indigenous cane and rattan weaving through a contemporary architectural lens. Bridging digital design systems with traditional craft, the studio creates bespoke furniture, sculptural works, and spatial installations rooted in material integrity and process. At India Design ID 2026, The Wicker Story will present Where Space Performs, an immersive woven installation where form, light, and scale interact to transform craft into a living, tactile spatial experience.
