Mumbai-based architect Sameep Padora founded his firm, sP+a (Sameep Padora and Associates), in 2007 after graduating from the GSD, Harvard University. He also serves on academic boards and is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at CEPT, Ahmedabad. Padora’s studio has garnered international recognition, receiving awards such as the Wallpaper Design Award, Architectural Review’s Emerging Architecture, Beazley Architecture Prize, and Wienerberger Brick Award, Archdaily Building of The Year 2019, Wallpaper Design Award for House of the Year, as well as the the AR Library Commendation Awards. His firm’s work has been widely published in India and internationally. Apart from his architectural endeavors, Padora founded the not-for-profit sPare to focus on urbanisation issues in India, particularly housing. As a co-founder of the Bandra Collective, he also actively designs public spaces in Mumbai.
