It is no surprise that the brands associated with India Design ID delivered innovative furniture, plush fabrics and incomparable accessories once again this year. For those of you who missed out, and even those who want to relive the experience, we’ve curated our highlights from the stunning India Design ID Exhibit this year. Aadyam
Aditya Birla Group’s CSR initiative put up an impressive display of luxurious textiles with their heritage-centric Meadow collection, an evergreen neutrals series and a contemporary french blue range.
Anantaya
An acacia wood leather Cord Chair, their iconic Deepam lamps, the new Ettore collection and several other handcrafted designs demonstrated the diversity of this Jaipur-based brand label.
Aranya Earthcraft
The local studio showcased an array of earth-toned wall art, sculptural bookends and decorative figurines that draw inspiration from nature and are crafted from sustainable materials and biodegradable.
Artychoke
The design label’s Aranyam collection transported us to a mythical forest with their assortment of home furnishings, all featuring botanical and avian motifs.
Arushi Arts
The New Delhi-based gallery’s curation ‘Then and Now’ encompassed a combination of works by Indian masters, abstractionists and budding sculptors.
Auburn Scale
Redefining luxury with leather, the brand combined the classic material with brass accents. Their newly launched range for India Design ID 2019 included rich handcrafted and hand coloured wall and ceiling panels in leather.
AVIT Lifestyle
With an aim to offer functionality and design under one roof, the firm presented a tech-infused interior setup boasting German seaters accompanied by Google Home, audio solutions by Bose and video equipment by Sony.
Awesome Snoozie
A mystical garden reimagination was put together using an Indian colonial themed wallpaper, art deco furniture and floral prints.
Bathline
The exhibit boasted classically styled luxury bathrooms comprising striking hand cut glass mosaics and French vanities. Adding to that were freestanding bathtubs, fixtures and faucets by renowned Italian brands.
BenQ and Xsys Solutions
The technology provider’s space showed off the smart monitors and holistic home theatre solutions for the ultimate television experience.
Bespoke Home Jewels
Minjal J’s setup radiated opulence and glamour with ornamental furniture like the geometric clock table, custom vases, imposing chandeliers and other accents crafted from 20-30 types of gemstones.
Bharat Floorings & Tiles
The brand unveiled their collaboration with Art&Found — Contemporary Terrazzo by Aniruddh Mehta, Brush Strokes & Petals by Suzanne Dias and Journey of Strokes by Pratap Chalke.
Counter Culture
A rotatable coat hanger, a lavish wall unit and multipurpose home theatre recliners along with other statement pieces dominated the firm’s space.
Devika Diwan Designs
Devika Diwan fashioned an enclosure embodying ‘Sharp Interiors for a Smart You’ by playing with geometry and colours.
EDIDA India 2018
Recognising the best of upcoming creative talent in India, the gallery displayed all the winning entries of Elle DecoR International Design Awards India 2018.
Élan
Upcoming designer Vidushi Gupta Agarwal’s new line is inspired by the Amer Palace in Jaipur. With an emphasis on the intrinsic beauty of metal, it aims to celebrate the raw appeal of materials like copper and brass.
Engineer Ply
Specialising in unique 10-feet doors, the plywood maker showcased their wide offering of high-quality veneers, wardrobe and kitchen surfaces as well as custom dyed wall panels.
Epson
The technology provider’s booth housed their short throw technology projectors alongside an ambient light screen for well-lit rooms.
Extraweave
In collaboration with award-winning textile designer Wesley Mancini, the Kerala based brand presented a unique Tanzanian sisal rug comprising of a collage of 15 singular motifs seamlessly blending into each other.
Falcon (Alulux)
The German manufacturer’s booth exhibited a range of sleek automated doors, screens, awnings and window solutions, manufactured using pre-coated aluminium.
Flooring India
Bold neutrals, organic patterns and minimal geometric motifs dominated the rug maker’s exhibit at ID. The carpet maker exhibited several high-quality viscose wool hand-tufted rugs made in Panipat.
Gauri Khan Designs
The interior designer’s eponymous label encapsulated the magic of the ocean with their Mineral furniture series, which includes At The Beachside coffee table and rich peacock blue shell seaters that add to the glamour quotient.
Mangrove Collective
The EDIDA India 2018 Designer of the Year’s gallery showcased some of their iconic designs that won them the prestigious title. Each piece illustrates their dedicated exploration of natural materials and indigenous crafts.
The Carpet Cellar
The luxury carpet house put forth a majestic display, exhibiting European designs as well as ranges featuring Pichwai prints, Zen imagery and 3D effect pieces with Persian and central Asian themes.
