The Viveria Home by Architect Naved Designs showcases the cornerstones of contemporary design—architectural detail and minimalism. With a keen use of colour and material, this modern abode is detailed with marble, leather cladding, mirrored surfaces, and patterned flooring. Our approach to the design was to calibrate the clients’ brief with our mediation of planning and designing spaces that have individual identities yet fall within the similar fabric of minimalism, modern styles, and contemporary living. The common areas of the hall and living room are planned and detailed to have invisible doors, hidden pockets as storage areas, and trap doors, all camouflaging together as wooden panels on walls and ceilings, giving a minimalistic look. The floor pattern and the surrounding wooden panelling play together to make the space more appealing and alluring. The monotony of the passage is further broken up by a marble-clad niche and reflective mirrored surfaces.

A duet of an enormous royal blue sofa and a quirky TV console gets accentuated by the surrounding opus of affluent materials used to make the living space. A sense of true supremacy is hurled by the dining space, with its textured and panelled walls augmented with metallic lettering and an enchanting chandelier to steal the show. Apt use of materials and colour schemes plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of spaces. The kids’ bedrooms have plenty of open space pockets for their daily activities, with splashes of colour defining the furniture objects. Some of the main highlights of the design scheme are the textured marble bed wall, the leather cladding with a bespoke four-poster bed and contrasting nightstand, the customised tile pattern in the kid bathroom, the contemporary marble inlay pattern in the hallway, and the customised wall panel in the living room, which camouflages the doors and forms a seamless design pattern.

Each room is defined by its encompassing architectural detail, material, and colour scheme. The design of the two couple bedrooms is done in such a way that maximum wardrobe space is restored without losing the identity of having a walk-in closet feel, with sliding partitions providing privacy when needed. The spacious couple bedroom features leather finishes, giving the impression of luxury and royalty. An assorted combination of deep colours and clear textures veils the user with the utmost glamour and allure. Graphical bedside units and geometric hanging lights delight the room with their eccentric characteristics. The kitchen here is designed to exemplify modern characteristics with its sober flooring, reflective surfaces, and sleek finish, thus attaining neatness in its design approach.
