An artistic platform curated to uphold youthful talent, Young Collectors Weekend Global (YCWG) encourages early aptitude for contemporary creativity. Under the association of Cultivate Art, this establishes connections through exhibitions, programmes, and meaningful interactions. Applications from India and the UK showcasing numerous genres receive an opportunity to exhibit diversity through pop-ups and online exhibitions.
For the second interpretation of this event, YCWG introduces an international collaboration to survey “territories of creativity” beyond South Asia. Keeping true to its global association, London-based art curator Solène Boyer is set to work with the Cultivate Art team to incorporate a sense of international métier. Solène’s childhood amidst the Loire Valley makes her a passionate art enthusiast, along with a prestigious degree holder and influential curator.
The environment where these young artists and collectors foster their creativity is vital in moulding global art ecosystems. With the primitive objective of analysing their role in these equations, an interesting conversation between Solene Boyer and Farah Siddiqui, founder of YCWG, will be held on June 29, 2024, at 2:30 pm IST on Instagram live: @Cultivateartglobal
Some of the young artists featured at this exhibition are Yulia Maleeva, Aditya Chadar, Meghana Gavireddygari, Mansha Chatwal, Kitty Lintin, Hansika Sharma, Debosmita Samanta, Gayatri Halder, Zoya Chaudhary, Ekta Singha, Khushboo, and Joseph Bucklow. From oil canvas paintings to watercolours and frescoes, these thought-provoking pieces magnify the talents of these emerging artists.
YCWG will be held in Mumbai from 27th to 30th June 2024.
