Renesa Architecture Design Interiors have styled a 1200 square foot experience centre in Gurugram NCR for, the Indian cricket team’s captain, Virat Kohli’s, formal footwear brand, One8 Select. The space merges its architectural elements with those that are common to the product that it houses – brass cleat detailing.
The interior is inviting and open; like walking into a gallery. The mirror lining on both sides of the store visually expands the spatial experience, and reflects the artfully curated shoe installations on the walls in various angles. Renesa Studio has used ‘one8’ as a design principle in itself – using the shapes created by the two digits as creative elements, thereby adding unique character to the store.
The space is further defined by monolithic concrete flooring and walls, with brass features complementing teak wood fittings. A folding installation system anchors the conference table and meeting lounges, with potential buyers getting a 360 degree view of the products.
The amalgamation of architecture, design branding and footwear design makes for an all-encompassing luxury retail experience.
