Sabine Marcelis, a Dutch designer based in Rotterdam, operates her studio in the intersecting disciplines of product, installation, and spatial design. Her works have been acquired for permanent collections by the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, among others. Her work is defined by simple forms that highlight material properties, giving her collaborations a strong aesthetic perspective. Sabine won the renowned Wallpaper awards for ‘Designer of the year 2020,’ the Design Prize 2019 for ‘Newcomer of the year,’ the Elle Decor International Design award for ‘Young designer of the year,’ and GQ’s ‘International Artist of the year 2019″
