Rupangi Khosla is a designer at SCRIPT, a furniture and accessory brand that reimagines urban living. Not only does she design products for the brand, but also leads research for designing activity-based ecosystems, a core philosophy pillar of the brand. She believes design research powers her thought process and anchors her work, in time and context.

Frequently moving homes across the country, since her early days, has cultivated a nuanced awareness of cultural patterns, human behaviour, and the tangible and intangible context of the place. It has helped her develop an innate understanding of the spectrum of urban living in India.

Studies in architecture from JJ School of Art, Mumbai and an intense furniture design program at NID, Ahmedabad have shaped her ability to think critically about design. Her academic work focuses on the conversations between bamboo craft and industrial design.
