The director of Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), Phillippe Fouche graduated in 2001 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, with a degree in Architecture. Following this, he joined SAOTA as a project architect in 2008. With a foundation in institutional, educational, residential, and urban design, his responsive design approach seeks unique solutions aligned with client needs and contextual integration. This approach has been pivotal in delivering diverse projects, ranging from European villas to mixed-use developments, urban designs, and corporate projects in West Africa, China, India, Japan, and Turkey. His work has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival Awards, and he received a Commendation at the WAF for his winning housing project “Neuländer Quarree” in Hamburg. Since 2014, he leads the Design Unit and oversees the CGI/BIM Departments, contributing to SAOTA’s continued innovation and excellence.
