New York-based designer Peter D’Ascoli has spent over four decades travelling the world researching decorative arts. Having studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, his formal training in textile design laid the foundation for a lifelong love of craft, leading to his interest in Indian artisanship. In 2006, D’Ascoli relocated to Delhi to establish the Talianna Studio, a vertical design atelier featuring hand embroidery, block and digital printing, and stitching. His work is renowned for its unique fusion of technology, traditional ornamentation, and global cultural influences.
