Parmesh Shahani is the Head of the Godrej India Culture Lab, the author of the book Gay Bombay: Globalization, Love and (Be)Longing in Contemporary India and the Editor at Large for Verve magazine. In addition, he is also a TED Senior Fellow, a Yale World Fellow, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and an academy member for the Global Teacher Prize. Parmesh has a Master’s degree in Comparative Media Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Education from Mumbai University.
