Nandan Ghiya is the creative director of the Public Arts Trust of India (PATI), a practising artist and design academic based in Jaipur. Ghiya’s art practice incorporates vintage photographs and wooden frames to reflect shifts in image, identity, and space in the 21st-century environment with digital elements as the leitmotif. Having showcased at The Sculpture Park curated by Peter Nagy, Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur (2024), Ghiya is developing a co-commission between PATI and the upcoming Liverpool Biennial 2025. Additionally, as an artist mentor for Jaipur Art Week Edition 4.0, Ghiya has engaged with over twenty participating artists and collectives to facilitate project evolution, production, curation and installation across iconic public venues of the Pink City, such as Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum and many private museums and institutions.
