Regarded as one of India’s best landscape designers, Kunal Maniar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in horticulture, followed by a post graduate degree in landscape architecture from University of Melbourne. He is a partner and Design Head at Kunal Maniar and Associates, which he founded in 2002. Sustainable and eco-friendly gardens, with a strong flavour for tropical wilderness, form the ethos and design principle for Kunal’s practice. In the past 20 years, the firm has gathered a wide spectrum of work ranging from hotels to hospitality, town houses, and weekend homes. The firm’s extensive client list includes eminent personalities such as Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Shah Rukh Khan, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
