A prominent Iranian architect, designer, author and speaker, Habibeh Madjdabadi has been selected by Dezeen Magazine and Pratt Institute as one of the 100 most innovative and inspiring women architects across the world. Madjdabadi emphasizes the role of culture and geographical matters in her designs as well as sheds light on choosing the materials and methods of fabrication. Her creations are the result of meticulous research to discover an artistic approach which contemporary yet rooted in tradition, local and global at the same time. She has been accredited worldwide with the Aga Khan Award in 2016, Tamayouz Women in Architecture and Construction Award in 2019, Chicago Award in 2014, and a few more.
