Ayush Kasliwal is a furniture and product designer and the co-founder of AKFD Studio and Anantaya based in Jaipur, India. He champions India’s craft heritage by translating traditional techniques into contemporary design languages. A graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Kasliwal collaborates with artisan communities across the country to create furniture, lighting, and accessories that are culturally resonant and globally relevant. Committed to sustainability and storytelling, Kasliwal’s work draws on architectural motifs, local materials, and thoughtful detailing. His works have been showcased at major international design fairs, including Ambiente and Salone del Mobile, and featured in publications such as Wallpaper*, Elle Decor India, and Designboom.
