Amandine Roggeman is the Cultural Attaché at the French Embassy in India. Since her arrival in 2022, she has made crafts a key focus of cultural cooperation between India and France, both through artists and designers residencies in collaboration with local artisans—Villa Swagatam—and through public events promoting key players in design, lifestyle, and architecture, contributing to the development of the French Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI). At present, the Embassy is organising the first travelling exhibition on Indo-French textiles, to be presented in Paris, at Mobilier National, in December 2025, and in India in 2027. This project, announced by President E. Macron, will highlight the importance of textile as a creative medium, fostering dialogue. Amandine holds a Master’s degree in International Cultural Exchange Strategy. Previously, she worked at the TotalEnergies Foundation, where she was in charge of cultural sponsorship, and later at the Château de Versailles as International Development Officer.
