Aman Nath is a celebrated writer, hotelier, and architectural restorer based in New Delhi. Along with Francis Wacziarg, he co-founded and co-chairs the Neemrana Hotels chain. Aman started his architectural restoring journey in 1991 and is now recognised as the pioneer of India’s heritage hotel movement. Nath’s extensive knowledge and experience in the field of heritage conservation and promotion, combined with his passion for restoring and preserving historical properties, have made him an important figure in the field of architecture in India. Over 25 historic buildings have been purchased and renovated into hotels that are sensitive to their historical and cultural contexts since 1991. In addition to his contributions in the architectural field, Nath has also co-authored 14 illustrated books on art, history, and architecture, two of which have won national awards. Neemrana Hotels has won prestigious awards from UNESCO, the Indian travel trade industry, and national awards.
