Aahana Miller is now at the helm as principal architect of the Mumbai-based architecture practice, ABM, a firm previously established by her father, Alfaz Miller, in 1972. Miller completed her education in fine arts and architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on adaptive re-use and historic preservation. She is instrumental to incorporating new technologies and fabrication techniques to the office’s design and construction process. Through their projects spanning commercial, residential, retail, and institutional typologies, the firm is focused on contemporising spaces for modern living while preserving their cultural essence.
