Two years since its inception, Virat Kohli’s One8 brand has established itself as an embodiment of the Indian cricket captain’s distinct personality. One8 Commune, a stunning addition to New Delhi’s emerging nightlife hub, Aerocity, designed by Chromed Design Studio is another illustration of that sentiment, with it’s unpretentious, sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic. The 4500 sq ft casual dining bar spans two floors with outdoor seating and, much like the name suggests, endeavours to create a sense of togetherness—from the wide range of cuisines on offer to the predominantly sharing size portions.

Apart from the sense of community represented through the gamut of their menu, a distinctive decor element that serves to further fuel a spirit of unity among customers is the retro-contemporary scoreboard on the first floor. Bar snacks and appetisers are served against a maroon and plum coloured decor. The gold tinted autographed wall piece and chandeliers add vibrancy to the space.

It is easy to imagine One8 Commune being used for a plethora of activities ranging from corporate dinners to relaxed nights out with friends, brunches, parties and even intimate, romantic dinners.
