Indian architect Nuru Karim presented an enriching talk at ID Symposium 2024 on how innovation and sustainable architecture can help catalyse us towards a promising, greener future. “Architecture can be that bridge where infrastructure meets development, where public art can be seen as infrastructure,” says Nuru Karim. In his fascinating talk, Karim talks about how his firm, nudes, works with the philosophy that design is research. What follows is then identifying his projects’ requirements, after which he works with landscape consultants to guarantee that his works are one with their environments. This is what ultimately succeeds in creating sustainable, eco-conscious architecture, promising green futures and innovation.
