Kaffa Cerrado designed by Project 810 is a coffee aficionado’s dream

Located in New Delhi’s industrial hub at Okhla, the headquarters of contemporary coffee brand Kaffa Cerrado spans four floors of a charming red brick building. The CafĂ© and Roastery make up a combined 2700 sq ft, while another 5400 sq ft comprises of the brand’s corporate space. Double-height ceilings, a copious amount of natural light and a minimal, clean metal and glass facade are some inviting elements conceptualised by the designers at Project 810. However, the split-levelled wood and marble counter, white handmade chevron tiles and eye-catching shelving constitute the primary focus of the space—the coffee bar.

“While natural finishes in mild steel, grey tiled floors, white and  taupe walls create a neutral backdrop for the space, the other small details and graphics seen on the walls, menu boards and door handles create smaller highlights. The cabinetry and woodwork done in teak throughout the cafĂ© have been crafted by local artisans,” said the designers. Also featuring an intentionally small seating capacity, the varied seating patterns have been designed to encourage interaction but also cater to those customers who would like to work alone.
