Speaking to legacies, inspirations, and how creativity keeps brands relevant, the first panel of the day featured the President of KOHLER for South Asia and Asia Pacific, Salil Sadanandan, and the Creative Head & Managing Director of JSL Lifestyle Limited, Deepika Jindal. This discussion was moderated by Kohelika Kohli, the CEO & Creative Director of K2India. 

Sadanandan talked about working with a legacy brand: “What’s unique about Kohler is that this is a family-led organisation, and there’s a fundamental, almost maverick streak of creativity that was started by our founder, John Michael Kohler.” Adding to this passion for creativity, Deepika Jindal shared how she spun a lifestyle design brand out of a family-run, legacy stainless steel company. The three luminaries exchanged ideas on how to turn practical materials into works of art, into functional designs.
