The Vernacular Modern is a Bangalore-based multidisciplinary design studio rooted in artisanal values and cultural heritage. Founded by Abhirup Dutta and Deeptashree Saha, the studio collaborates with artisans to create collectible heirlooms that celebrate vernacular craft and contemporary living. This year’s showcase features sculptural pieces like the Drushti Pithika bar unit, Sarpa Gaja Asandi chair, Ghariyal Pittikai bench, and Mridu Deepa wall light, each crafted for a more intentional way of life.
