The Vernacular Modern (TVM), a multidisciplinary design studio based in Bangalore, draws inspiration from India’s rich cultural heritage. Evolving from ‘Woodlabs’ in 2024, TVM collaborates with artisans to revive vernacular wisdom and crafts, blending them with modern aesthetics. Founded by architect Abhirup Dutta and interior designer Deeptashree Saha, the brand aims to create sustainable, collectible modern heirlooms that reflect a slower, more intentional way of life.
