Rhizome is a design studio creating limited-edition and bespoke furniture, lighting, installations, and objects through close collaborations with craftspeople across India. Working with responsible materials such as reclaimed wood, bamboo, brass, stone, grass, and silver, the studio builds a modern-vernacular language that merges traditional knowledge with contemporary form. At India Design ID 2026, Rhizome presents a collection shaped by the intersection of surrealism and inherited ritual — reinterpreting familiar myths through contemporary forms that shift scale, perception, and symbolism.
