Inspired by the traditional techniques of origami, ORIKRIT explores the potential of folding patterns to create bespoke art installations. The brand is an initiative by Swakrit, setup by Deepti and Ayush Jain, graduates of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Their creations see beauty rise from modest two-dimensional surfaces through experiments with the varied landscapes of folds and mathematical contortions. The works of art are created using a variety of materials like paper, fabric, metal, cement and rugs.
