ORIKRIT is a creative practice founded by Deepti and Ayush Jain, exploring the art of folding as a language of form through textiles, woven bamboo, and contemporary materials. Positioned at the intersection of origami-inspired techniques and Indian craftsmanship, the studio transforms flat surfaces into sculptural objects defined by precision, rhythm, and material sensitivity. At India Design ID 2026, ORIKRIT will present a sculptural lighting collection where folded planes interact with light and shadow, revealing depth, warmth, and texture through hand-crafted woven bamboo and artisanal surfaces.
