Material Immaterial Studio

Material Immaterial Studio is a Mumbai-based multidisciplinary design practice founded by architect Nitin Jain, working at the intersection of architecture, design, and art. Rooted in brutalist principles and material honesty, the studio creates collectible objects and sculptural works that explore space, structure, and emotion. At India Design ID 2026, the studio will present a curated selection of architectural sculptures and installations, including Sanctum, Re-Cast, Ghats of Benaras, Amalfi, and the kinetic work Fabel.
