World Bazaar was started by Randip and Simran Dhingra in 2004 with their flagship store in Ghitorni, M.G. Road , New Delhi spread over 8500 square feet. Initially, the company started to import Wicker furniture and artefacts from Indonesia and was a huge success. The company later evolved to further imports from across Asia from the Philippines, Burma , Sri Lanka , Thailand as well as China . The first foray into outdoor furniture was in the year 2009 and the company has never looked back since . The branding has since than changed to World Bazaar ( Luxury outdoor) as by then they had exited all indoor product markets . They currently import and represent only European brands across India.
