Vibhor Sogani is an alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Famous for India’s largest and most visible public art installation – the ‘Sprouts’ – a 40 ft high stainless steel installation in the heart of Delhi, he has made a tremendous mark in art and light based installations.
Over the years, his works have been exhibited in various art and design shows in India and overseas like Australia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, S. Africa, Singapore, Germany etc. His exhibitions have often been supported by the Indian government and governments abroad. In 2002, he launched a signature brand of lifestyle accessories, using steel in combination with wood, brass, glass etc. which have been exemplar in corporate domain and the hospitality industry, being retailed globally.
In 2007, the studio launched a range of exquisite lights and light installations for International and National markets under the brand ‘SOGANI by Vibhor Sogani’. Multiple EDIDA winner, Vibhor has also been awarded ‘Indian Art Icon of the Year 2014’ in Singapore. His brand SOGANI was recently felicitated with the ‘Light Middle East Awards’ in Dubai. Vibhor has also been recently nominated by the government as a member of the Governing Council of the India Design Council.
