Cobalt Designs is inspired by a classical tradition seeking to preserve the very best of past cultures in terms of both artisanal tradition and fine craftsmanship combining this with contemporary design. They work with traditional crafts primarily in metal alloys and push the finishing levels to match machine made. The studio undertakes projects from sculpture, illustration, lighting, furniture, jewellery, craft design workshops. Creator of Cobalt Designs, Valay Gada won the Elle Decor International Elle Decor International Design Award (EDIDA) for Young Talent 2014 from India and showed at Ambiente in Frankfurt.
