Smita Singh is a collage artist, passionate about ‘Les Arts Décoratifs.’ A significant part of her work focuses on hand cut collages, Art Deco and Italian decorative arts involving gold leaf gilding and patina. Juxtaposing diverse imagery and materials is her forte, and she also uses varied textures and themes to create surprising contrasts in her works. She has trained extensively under master crafts persons in Rome, Florence and France, and subsequently established her own decorative arts studio in Gurugram in 2017.
