The leading producer of high-end home appliances, including those for cooking, baking, and steam cooking, refrigerators, coffee machines, dishwashers, laundry, and floor care products, is Miele. The 1899-founded corporation operates eight production facilities in Germany and one facility each in Austria, the Czech Republic, China, and Romania. In 2010, Miele opened an office, with its regional headquarters located in Jasola, New Delhi. Their product line is supplemented by commercial dishwashers, washer-extractors, and tumble dryers, as well as washer-disinfectors and sterilisers for use in medical and laboratory settings.
