House of Katachi

House of Katachi approaches lighting as an architectural element, shaped by proportion, structure, and the movement of light through space. Drawing from brutalism, japandi, and modern minimalism, the studio creates restrained forms that respond quietly to material, scale, and spatial context. At India Design ID 2026, House of Katachi presents an evolving series of lighting forms — beginning with strong, elemental geometries, progressing into layered compositions, and culminating in softer, fluid silhouettes. The collection reflects a thoughtful shift in contemporary spatial design, where light integrates seamlessly with architecture rather than standing apart from it.
