The founders of DeMuro Das, Brian DeMuro and Puru Das, formed an international design company that combines aesthetic and cultural sensibilities. In their most recent creation, a series of capsule collection is inspired from the history of jewellery production in India. The mirrors, cabinets, and tables have semi-precious stone cladding on them. The designers have experimented with uncommon finishes like claret dolomite, vesuvianite, and howlite, thanks to the studio’s stone-working atelier. While the Demi series has unevenly spaced legs and a variety of stone finishes, the Gem collection includes a cabinet and mirror with solid bronze handles and stone cladding.
